Tejus Pathak is a Partner at ELP and a part of the firm’s Tax practice at Delhi. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant (2009 Batch) and a Company Secretary (2004 Batch).
Tejus’s areas of expertise is Indirect Taxes including GST, Customs duty, Foreign Trade Policy, Excise, Service tax and, VAT. She has valuable experience in advising large multinationals and Indian corporates engaged in a variety of sectors such as energy, infrastructure, mining, FMCG, healthcare, oil & gas, etc.
Tejus has supported clients in relation to Indirect tax transaction advisory, contract reviews, tax optimization, structuring assistance, due diligence review, compliance assistance, litigation related services including drafting of replies, appeals, writ petitions and appearing before the relevant forums. She has also been a part of various advocacy related initiatives before the Government authorities, including the Ministry of Finance, DGFT, RBI, etc. in relation to tax and other regulatory aspects.
She has been appreciated by her clients for the thorough and in-depth preparedness towards the assignments managed by her.
Tejus brings to the table an experience of close to 11 years, 8 of which she has served with ELP. Prior to ELP, Tejus was part of the Indirect Tax team at KPMG and PWC, Mumbai.
