Supreme Kothari is a Partner in the tax practice of ELP. He has over fourteen years of work experience, primarily in the Indirect tax space, and he specializes in handling advisory and litigation matters in relation to taxation and allied laws. Having extensively worked across all facets of Indirect taxation over the past decade, Supreme is actively engaged in advising on complex transaction structures and intricate issues of interpretation. He has also been providing clients with strategic inputs and end to end support during audit and investigation proceedings.
Supreme brings to the table significant experience in handling litigation matters encompassing drafting of replies, filing appeals and appearing before relevant forums. He has also supported clients in policy advocacy efforts and in effectively engaging with the Government to seek suitable reliefs. Clients vouch for his out of the box thinking, practical and business-oriented approach and view him as a solution provider.
He is a qualified lawyer as well as a Chartered Accountant, with All-India Merit Ranks in the Intermediate and Foundation exams.
Supreme joins back after his earlier stint with ELP of close to 11 years. Prior to joining ELP, he operated as an independent tax and legal advisor. He has also previously worked with Ernst & Young and Indian Oil.
