Dipesh Jain serves as a Partner in the tax practice at ELP, where he brings to the table over 16 years of rich expertise in tax and regulatory matters.
Dipesh advises domestic and multi-national corporations (MNCs) across a broad spectrum of industries on direct tax issues. Dipesh’s experience encompasses a wide range of direct tax assignments, including structuring of both inbound and outbound investments, deal structuring, internal reorganizations through schemes of arrangement and otherwise, cash up-streaming strategies, and the structuring of cross-border transactions with a focus on internalization and externalization frameworks. Additionally, he is adept at conducting tax due diligence and offering transaction support across various sectors.
Dipesh’s client portfolio includes numerous high-profile listed and unlisted companies, as well as unicorn startups. Before ELP, Dipesh served in the Mergers and Acquisitions tax team at Deloitte Haskins and Sells LLP, and has also earlier worked with BMR Advisors and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Beyond his professional practice, Dipesh is an active contributor to thought leadership in direct tax matters, regularly writing articles and sharing his insights as a speaker at diverse forums.
