Sumeet Agrawal is an Associate Partner in the direct tax practice of in Economic Laws Practice (ELP).
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has over 12 years of experience in the field of M&A tax and advisory.
He has advised and executed assignments on corporate mergers/demergers, cross-border tax structuring, strategizing investments/divestments/repatriations, joint ventures structuring, tax due-diligence reviews, and transactions such as internal capital re-organisations, balance sheet rightsizing, merger/de-merger and scheme implementation. In the recent past, he has also advised on promoter shareholding realignment, succession planning and reorganization of promoter family interests.
Prior to joining ELP he was associated with KPMG and Dhruva Advisors.
