Aayush Tiwari is an Associate Partner in the Tax practice at ELP and is based in Pune. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a commerce graduate from Pune University.
Aayush has more than 10 years of experience in rendering Indirect tax advisory, transactional and litigation services to multinational companies in auto, auto-components, IT/ITES, medical equipment, telecommunication and digital infrastructure, industrial manufacturing sectors. He specializes in multiple reviews/ due diligence/ health checks under various Indirect Tax regulations to identify risks, potential savings and monitor credit hygiene.
Aayush also has extensive experience in handling high-stake Indirect Tax litigation matters and worked on complex Customs/ Foreign Trade Policy related matters. He regularly advises clients on legacy matters under Central Excise, Service tax, VAT and has also assisted several companies in their transition to the GST regime.
He has also conducted multiple training sessions for finance/ tax teams of multinational companies on complex Indirect Tax matters and regularly authors articles for several tax publications.
Prior to joining ELP, he has earlier worked with Ernst & Young and KPMG.
