Anchal Mundada is an Associate Partner at ELP and has been part of the firm’s Indirect Tax, Customs and Regulatory practice since 2015.
Anchal has gained experience in matters relating to GST, Customs and Foreign Trade Policy, State Excise, Service Tax and VAT. She has been engaged in providing advisory and litigation services to various clients in the indirect tax space and represents clients before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
She has also been involved in making representations to key government bodies such as the Ministry of Finance, Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MOEF), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Legal Metrology, State Excise departments, pertaining to various tax, trade policy and regulatory matters for companies and industry associations.
She has advised clients across diverse sectors, including renewable energy, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), apparel, automotive, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, and alcoholic beverages.
She holds an LLB degree and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
