Rajashree is an Associate Partner in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice of ELP at Bengaluru.
In addition to being an Advocate, Rajashree is also a Solicitor and an active member of the Bombay Incorporated Law Society (BILS). She has over 13 years of experience in commercial litigation, arbitration, regulatory disputes, intellectual property disputes, real estate litigation, labour and employment disputes and white-collar crimes. She has also extensively advised clients on sexual harassment matters, internal investigations, and senior management exits.
Rajashree appears before various fora including the Supreme Court of India, Bombay High Court, Karnataka High Court and Electricity Board amongst others.
She has represented and advised clients across several sectors including banking, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, infrastructure and textiles. She is proficient in handling complex legal matters with a focus on achieving practical outcomes for clients.
Rajashree has also extensively worked with Invest India (a unit of the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India) to recommend amendments to E-Commerce Rules, 2020 as well as the Code of Civil Procedure,1908.
Prior to joining ELP, Rajashree was Vice President (Legal) at JP Morgan Services India Private Limited. As part of her role, she was responsible for managing litigation and advising on a wide variety of employment and labour law issues including Sexual harassment issues and formulating policies for various teams within the organisation including Human Resources and Compliance.
In addition to her legal practice, she has facilitated training sessions for Articled Clerks at BILS.
