Overview

Udit Jain is an Associate Partner in the Tax, Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice at ELP and is based out of Delhi. Udit has over a decade of experience in rendering tax advisory, transactional and litigation services to various clients and multi-national companies across a range of industries, including the telecommunication, real-estate, FMCG, Pharma, renewable energy, oil & gas, automotive, IT hardware & software, airlines, hotels and liquor sectors.

Udit has over a decade of experience in rendering tax advisory, transactional and litigation services to various clients and multi-national companies across a range of industries, including the telecommunication, real-estate, FMCG, Pharma, renewable energy, oil & gas, automotive, IT hardware & software, airlines, hotels and liquor sectors.

Further, Udit has represented several multinational companies before different judicial fora such as Supreme Court of India, jurisdictional High Courts, Tribunals and Authorities across the country pertaining to FEMA, PMLA, Anti-Profiteering, Income Tax and a range of Indirect Taxes in India, including GST, Customs, Excise, Service Tax, Value Added Tax (VAT)/ Sales Tax and Entry Tax which have resulted in numerous landmark and reported decisions. Udit is also actively involved in leading meetings with general counsels and in-house legal teams, formulating legal strategies, drafting pleadings, appearing and arguing on behalf of clients.

 Udit is an  alumnus of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi.
