Megha Agarwal is an Associate Partner in the Hospitality, Corporate & Commercial, Private Equity and Energy & Infrastructure practices of ELP. She graduated from the 5 years law course (B.L.S, LL.B) at Government Law College(3rd rank), Mumbai in 2013.
Megha joined ELP in January 2014. During her initial years at ELP, she worked with the Banking & Finance team on various project financing and corporate transactions along with general corporate advisory. She then joined the Hospitality, Energy & Infrastructure team. Her role in this team has been to advise on a myriad of hospitality and infrastructure matters, ranging from hotel management agreements, concession agreements, bid documents, power purchase agreements, and other commercial agreements. She regularly advises clients in respect of queries pertaining to statutory compliance, contractual commitments and labour issues. She has also been involved in various corporate transactions including private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions and shareholder exits, predominantly in the infrastructure and hospitality space.
Megha has been recognized as Rising Star for Projects and Energy by The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific.
Megha frequently writes on legal developments in the hospitality, infrastructure and energy space and has contributed to ELP’s books on these sectors. She has, along with Aakanksha Joshi, been overseeing the publication of the firm’s Infrastructure and Energy Digest.
