We are pleased to share with you the latest edition of our Competition Law update where we cover some of the significant legal, regulatory, and policy developments in India’s competition law regime over the last quarter.

In our current update, we have covered key enforcement matters in India, including:

• Delhi HC terminates CCI proceedings based on settlement between parties.
• Gauhati HC finds lack of a prima facie case for cartelization against cement companies.
• NCLAT upholds CCI order imposing penalty on total turnover where relevant turnover was nil.
• CCI exonerates sugar mills, and oil marketing companies on charges of cartelisation.

We have also covered key developments in the Indian merger control regime including introduction of DVT and other amendments introduced to streamline filing and investigation procedure of the CCI.
