Bharat Jain is an Associate Partner in the Real Estate practice of ELP.

Bharat has over 11 years of experience and has handled numerous real estate and Litigation matters including structuring, advice, drafting of varied agreements, deeds and documents, litigation related documents including suits, writs, claims and pleadings.

Bharat has worked with educational institutions / developers / promoters and individuals and assisted them with transactional and advisory work including title due diligence in respect of large parcels of lands.

He has also worked on several transactions involving sale/purchase of several agricultural and non-agricultural lands, residential and commercial properties and leases in industrial parks, transfer / acquisition of units in SEZs etc. He has been actively involved in leases and assignment of leases, redevelopment of land and buildings belonging to housing societies in Maharashtra.

Bharat also advises several builders / promoters on RERA related queries and assisted them in finalizing several RERA compliant documents.

He has drafted and negotiated various property documents including Development Agreements, Deeds of Conveyance/Sale Deeds, Deeds of Re-Conveyance, Lease Deeds, Deeds of Assignment, Deed of Apartment, Leave and License Agreements, Deeds of Transfer, MOFA and RERA Agreements, Deeds of Partnerships and Deeds of Re-constitution of Partnerships / LLP’s Memorandum of Understanding, etc.

Bharat has a considerable experience in handling litigation matters pertaining to real estate and has assisted and represented clients before the Supreme Court of India, Bombay High Court, City Civil Court, Small Causes Court, Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority, RERA Appellate Tribunal, Additional and Deputy Collectors, Superintendent of Land Records etc.

Prior to joining ELP, Bharat earlier worked with Hariani & Co, Manilal Kher Ambalal and Crawford Bayley.
