-Delhi High Court holds that interest for delay in payment of monetary penalty can only be levied as provided by a statute.
-Madras High Court quashes CCI order due to lack of procedural fairness and transparency in the proceedings.
-NCLAT upholds CCI’s decision to impose a penalty based on total turnover where relevant turnover was nil.
-NCLAT reiterates that mere exchange of information is sufficient for contravention of Section 3(3) of the Competition Act.
-NCLAT reduces the penalty imposed on Godrej in the dry cell battery cartel case.
