India

• The enforcement date of Quality Control Orders (QCOs) of (i) Pyridine (ii) Gamma Picoline (iii) Beta Picoline (iv) Potassium Carbonate (v) Acetone (vi) Sodium Tripolyphosphate extended.

USA

• The United States International Trade Commission publishes “The Year in Trade 2021 : Operation of the Trade Agreements Program.”
• The interagency Trade Policy Staff Committee has invited written comments to assist the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) in the preparation of its annual report to the Congress on China’s compliance with the commitments made in connection with its accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Europe

• The EC issued its second annual report on screening of Foreign Direct Investments into the Union.

SANCTIONS AND EXPORT CONTROL

• Stakeholder comments invited for proposed amendment in Category 5B of the SCOMET List related to export of Drones and UAVs.
• The EC issued its second annual report on the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2021/821 setting up a Union regime for the control of exports, brokering, technical assistance, transit and transfer of dual-use items
