Amidst the fear of slowdown and global recession due to the covid pandemic, the Union Budget 2023-24 was growth-oriented, tax-friendly, and progressive. The Indirect tax proposals align with the Government’s key strategic priorities i.e., ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ to incentivize domestic value addition.
