MCA has passed amendment expanding the scope of eligibility of fast-track mergers and has made the fast-track merger process more streamlined. Also, SEBI has at its recent board meeting approved changes under various regulations including amendments to the LODR Regulations allowing for scale-based thresholds for determining material RPTs by listed company and defining thresholds for determining material RPTs amongst others and amendment to FPI Regulations permitting registration of retail schemes in IFSC as FPI.
