The government seeks to track details about how, when, and where you travel, as well as the source of funding for your trips. As a result, airlines have been instructed to share this information. Although regulations for this data-sharing framework have been in place since 2022, it is now proposed to make it mandatory for all airlines to provide the specified passenger data to the Customs Department starting April 1, 2025.
