ELP Update – Indian Stamp (Collection of Stamp-Duty through SE CC and Depositories) Rules [1]

Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) has notified the Indian Stamp (Collection of Stamp-Duty through Stock Exchanges, Clearing Corporations and Depositories) Rules, 2019 (Rules) by a notification dated December 10, 2019, with effect from January 9, 2020. We have summarized the Rules in the attached update.
