World Trade Organization (WTO)

• USITC Institutes Section 337 Investigation of Certain Playards and Strollers
• USDOC determines that countervailable subsidies are being provided to producers and exporters of certain aluminum foil (aluminum foil) from the People’s Republic of China (China)
• Commission imposes countervailing duties on imports of aluminum converter foil from China
• UK and Australia sign historic trade deal

  India

• Ministry of Commerce extends the Bicycles- Retro Reflective Devices (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2021 toll January 2023
• Ministry of Commerce extends the Refrigerating Appliances Quality Control Amendment Order, 2021  until January 2023
• Ministry of Commerce issues SCOMET Updates 2021 Amendment in Appendix 3 SCOMET items to Schedule 2 of ITC HS Classification of Export and Import Items 2018
• Ministry of Chemicals issues extension of Quality Control Orders for n-n-butyl acrylate, ethylene glycol, toluene, phthalic anhydride and terepthalic acid until June 2022
• Ministry of Finance levies  anti-dumping duty on imports of ‘Hydrofluorocarbon Blends (All blends other than 407 and 410 are excluded)’ originating in or exported from China PR for a period of five years.
• Ministry of Finance levies  anti-dumping duty on imports of ‘Silicone Sealant’ originating in or exported from China PR for a period of five years.
