On June 2, 2023, the Central Government, in exercise of its powers under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940, prohibited the manufacture for sale, sale or distribution for human use, 14 Fixed Dose Combination drugs that were approved prior to 21.09.1988 (“Pre-1988 FDCs”).
