The Clean Energy Tool

Economic Laws Practice (ELP) collaborates with Simmons & Simmons on the Clean Energy Tool.

Economic Laws Practice (ELP) is delighted to have collaborated with Simmons & Simmons by contributing to the content for India on the Clean Energy Tool. The Clean Energy Tool is a comprehensive, multi-jurisdictional information hub for investment in clean energy projects. It provides an online forum where investors can gather complex legal and regulatory information concerning renewable energy projects.

With the demand for renewable energy rising worldwide and the sourcing of reliable data to inform investment decisions in clean energy projects becoming increasingly difficult, the Clean Energy Tool is a ‘one-stop-shop’ for comprehensive and trustworthy information for investors and other stakeholders. With over 50 jurisdictions and still adding, the platform proves to be a powerful tool to scale up the energy transition.

ELP’s Aakanksha Joshi, Partner in our Projects, Infrastructure & Energy practice area has provided valuable insights, including into India’s targets for renewables, energy mix and India’s green hydrogen policy.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the team at Simmons & Simmons for collaborating with ELP on this Clean Energy initiative and we look forward to many such collaborations in the near future.
