With the aim of facilitating better transparency and timely disclosures of material events and information by listed companies, the capital markets regulator has proposed to modify the existing definition of Unpublished Price Sensitive Information (UPSI) The proposed changes, if implemented, will broaden the definition of UPSI multi-fold and the consequent compliances will require substantial efforts on the part of stakeholders.
