On July 24, 2026, IFSCA approved a number of amendments to the IFSCA (Fund Management) Regulations, 2025. IFSCA also approved a new framework permitting Venture Capital Schemes and Restricted Schemes to issue multiple classes of units with differential distribution rights to facilitate blended finance and other innovative fund structures. In this Update, we summarise and analyse the key amendments approved by IFSCA, the proposed differential distribution framework, and their implications for Fund Management Entities and investment funds established in GIFT IFSC.
