One of India’s biggest indirect tax reforms – Goods and Services Tax (‘GST’), completed its sixth year on July 01, 2023. As we look at the six years of roll-out, this introduction truly marks a massive revolution in India’s indirect taxation regime. The GST Council completed its half century meeting (50th meeting) when it met on July 11, 2023. This was concluded by proposing several recommendations for facilitation of trade and addressing various grey areas.

Against this backdrop, Harsh Shah, Partner and Palak Shah, Principal Associate at Economic Laws Practice (ELP) have co-authored an article titled ‘GST Council-50* not out’ for The Times Of India.
