IFSCA has issued a circular dated April 10, 2026, prohibiting fiduciaries of AIFs operating in GIFT-IFSC, such as trustee companies, from providing fund administration services and a few other specified services to the same AIF, either directly or through associates. In this update, we briefly analyse the aforementioned circular and its implications for service providers in GIFT-IFSC.
