In their article for Moneycontrol, ELP’s Kumar Visalaksh and Arihant Tater discuss India’s recent decision to be part of the OECD consensus on digital taxation. More specifically, the authors analyze how this could affect India-US relations. There is a fear that with the imposition of digital tax, the US might  impose retaliatory tariffs against India.
