Competition Law update Part 2 of 2019

Volume 2 of our Competition Law update cover some of the recent significant developments in India’s competition law regime. Notably, both the Competition Commission of India and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (i.e. the appellate authority) have emphasized on the burden on an informant to prove a prima facie case warranting an investigation by the office of the Director General. Additionally, the Supreme Court has cautioned the High Courts on exercising their powers while staying any investigation. Read complete update here.
