Bihar has taken a significant step towards labour law harmonisation by repealing Bihar Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2025 in light of the overlapping provisions in the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020.
