Assisted a global technology company on its imports into India, including on core Customs issues such as the appropriate classification, valuation of various electronic and hardware items. ELP’s role also extends to advising on various Indian regulatory laws governing imports such as the product safety regulations of the Bureau of India Standards, e-Waste (ROHS) regulations, Hazardous Waste regulations, import licensing requirements, labelling requirements and encryption regulations. Also assisted the client on the issues of imports from related parties.
