The 11 Sensex-listed information technology (IT) and banking companies accounted for 83 per cent of all sexual harassment cases reported at firms on the 30-share index in financial year (FY) 2022-23.  According to data, the Sensex companies saw an overall uptick in such cases compared to the pre-pandemic figure — from 627 in FY20 to 711 in FY23, a 13 per cent increase.
