This year the government is likely to take up the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016 amid calls from MSME’s to take up this issue. Set against this backdrop, Yashojit discusses records available with Information Utilities, regulation and investigation of avoidable transactions and the MSME’s demand to be given priority as operational creditors in the Code itself. He expects Budget 2022 to address quick turnaround in insolvency proceedings.
