On October 9, 2025, the United States expanded its Iran-related sanctions, designating over 100 individuals, entities, and vessels — including 8 Indian nationals and 9 Indian entities — for allegedly facilitating Iran’s petroleum and LPG trade.

Sanctioned entities and individuals should carefully evaluate their legal and strategic options, including potential delisting efforts and strengthening internal compliance frameworks.
