Ritesh Kanodia is a Partner in the Tax practice of ELP.
Ritesh has over two decades of post-qualification in indirect taxes. His areas of proficiency also include Customs and Foreign Trade Policy (FTP).
Ritesh regularly advises clients on indirect tax structuring and supply chain optimization and has advised various domestic and multinational companies on tax controversies including devising pre-litigation strategies. In addition to his advisory work, Ritesh also appears before various administrative and judicial fora.
Ritesh has been featured in ALB’s India Super 50 Lawyer List 2022.
Ritesh currently serves as Co-chairman of the Indirect Taxes Committee of ASSOCHAM and is regularly sought out by the media for his views on the tax and customs fronts. He also authors articles for various publications and newspapers and has been invited as keynote speaker at several fora.
In addition to being a lawyer, Ritesh is He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1999. He obtained his law degree from Gopaldas Advani Law College in 2009 and has completed his Bachelor of Commerce in 1997.
Ritesh who has returned to the ELP fold after a gap of 10 years, has earlier served with Dhruva Advisors, VoxLaw and Deloitte.
