Farhad Dalal is an Associate Partner in the Tax practice at ELP.
Farhad has handled various tax matters covering all aspects of Indirect taxes including customs, excise, service tax, value added tax, goods and services tax and foreign trade policy. With over a decade of experience, Farhad provides advisory and legal services to various multinational and domestic companies. He has also been representing clients in proceedings before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums as well as in the assessment proceedings under the Tax.
Farhad routinely undertakes review exercises relating to various Indirect tax laws for multinational corporations.
He has also been involved in preparing representations to the Ministry of Finance in relation to various tax policy matters for companies and industry associations.
Prior to joining ELP, Farhad served with Ernst & Young, Deloitte and SKP.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010 followed by his Information System Audit certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Farhad earned his law degree from K.C Law College in 2015.
