New duty remission scheme to cover 8,555 items at an outlay of ?12,450 cr

Rohit Jain and Gourav Sogani, Partners at Economic Laws Practice (ELP) have been quoted in Business Line (aka The Hindu Business Line) in an article on the new input duty remission scheme. Although the exporters are relieved that the wait is over, the scheme has been a disappointment with the sector exclusion and lower rates.
