Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing compensation structures to identify necessary revisions related to Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and gratuity contributions.
- Assess employment arrangements to estimate potential financial obligations under the New Labour Codes.
- Compute revised compensation structures by analysing salary components and statutory obligations.
- Perform in-depth legal research and analysis of labour laws and their financial impact on businesses.
- Ensure compliance with evolving labour law requirements.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Provide compliance advisory services.
- Review and draft employment contracts, HR policies, and other employment-related documentation.
- Conduct due diligence and compliance audits.
- Provide legal and financial impact assessments for large-scale employee exits, workforce restructuring, and business closures.
- Offer legal insights and strategic guidance on labour law developments.
- Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries and inspections.
- Conduct audits to assess adherence to employment laws, including PF, ESI, gratuity, and other statutory benefits.
- Advise on contract labour regulations, wage structures, retrenchment policies, and workplace safety requirements.
- Draft, review, and update employment contracts, HR policies, and termination agreements.
- Conduct labour law due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring.
- Assess risks related to mass layoffs, severance packages, and voluntary retirement schemes (VRS).
Skill Set:
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, employment regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Expertise in financial analysis related to compensation structures and statutory contributions.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and advisory capabilities.
- Experience in due diligence, compliance audits, and regulatory scrutiny handling is a plus.
- Stay updated on judicial precedents, government notifications, and emerging employment law trends
