Anti- Spam Policy

The policy (the "Policy" or "Anti-Spam Policy") of Economic Laws Practice ("ELP") regarding sending unsolicited commercial and bulk emails better or more commonly known as spam ("Spam") applies to all pages on the ELP website. ELP prohibits the use of the ELP website in any manner associated with the dissemination of Spam, whether by way of delivery, distribution or transmission. You are prohibited from (i) using the ELP website to send Spam, and (ii) sending or causing to send any Spam to the ELP website or any of its visitors. Any e-mail sent, or caused to be sent to or through the ELP website must not:

  • Use or contain invalid or forged headers;
  • Use or contain invalid or non-existent domain names;
  • Employ any technique that may misrepresent, hide or obscure any information that identifies the point of origin or the transmission path ;
  • Use any other means of deceptive addressing;
  • Use any third party's domain name, or be relayed from or through a third party's domain name without permission of said third party;
  • Contain false or misleading information or content;
  • Fail to comply with the additional technical standards that are described below; or
  • Otherwise violate the Terms of Use contained here or the Privacy Policy contained here.
Additionally, ELP does not
  • Authorise the harvesting, mining or collection of e-mail addresses or other information from or through the ELP website;
  • Permit or authorise others to use the ELP Website to collect, compile or obtain any information about ELP's subscribers, clients or business or visitors to the ELP website, including but not limited to subscriber e-mail addresses, which are ELP's confidential and proprietary information.;
  • Permit or authorise any attempt to use the ELP website in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden or impair any aspect of any of the ELP website, or that could interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the ELP website.

ELP, may, without notice, take such action as it, in its sole discretion, deems appropriate, including blocking messages from a particular internet domain, mail server or IP address, if ELP believes that unauthorised or improper use is being made of any part of the ELP website.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to grant any right to transmit or send e-mail to, or through, the ELP website. Failure to enforce this Policy in every instance does not amount to a waiver of ELP's rights.

Unauthorised use of the ELP website in connection with the transmission of unsolicited e-mail, including the transmission of e-mail in violation of this policy, may result in civil, criminal or administrative penalties against the sender and those aiding or abetting the sender.
