ELP Update: Amendments to the Prevention of Corruption Act

The recent amendments to the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (‘PC Act’) made vide the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018 have brought far-reaching changes, especially, on containing the supply side of the corruption. These amendments will come into force from such date as may be appointed by Central Government vide a notification which is yet to be issued.
