In this month’s Infrastructure and Energy Digest, we examine the provisions of the Mineral Law Ordinance and its potential impact, the decision of the Delhi High Court in the matter of Rajeev Agarwal v. Union of India, where a PIL was invoked against DIAL, the draft Electric Vehicle Policy of the Delhi Government as well as the memorandum of understanding between the Indian Railways and DFID. We also throw light upon the CERC’s decisions in the matter of Parampujya Solar Energy Private Limited and Wardha Solar (Maharashtra) Private Limited v. SECI on Carrying Costs and O&M Expenses after GST Law and in a matter against the NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited, wherein drought was recognized as a force majeure event.
